SA Go Digi Freebie

Well I finally got around to finishing my mini kit for my SA challenge... halfway through November. And now a month later I finally got around to putting it here!

A Big Week in my Scrap World!

Well in the last week (or so) I have made a Betty Boop blinkie of me for my SA siggy, completed 3 LOs for Lo Tag and been announced as being on the Digi A-Team at the Scrap Addicts! I have also posted a heap of tutorials and my first challenge on SA. Hopefully I will get some takers for my challenge to 'Go Digi' as I am making a mini kit to give away to everyone who posts a digi page, and I think it is really good.

I will hopefully finish the mini kit tonight and then I have some more things to work on too. Maybe I will get in some more scrapping in the next few days too.

to my beautiful 6 year olds Alysha and Taylah!!!

Well it was actually on Friday 31st and then their party was on Sunday, so I am a bit late but oh well!

We got them a heap of scrapbooking stuff (mostly form my stash) which they had really wanted. They both made 2 beautiful pages that day which I still need to get pics of. We also got them the Barbie Mariposa dolls with the huge wings. They were so excited, but unfortunately the wings keep falling off, so I am not so keen on them anymore. And later Daddy came home with beautiful flowers for each of them which they loved!



They had a great time at their party. Four of their friends came around in the afternoon and we had a scrapbooking party! They made little poppets of themselves, party bags and a page with a photo of all 6 of them. Even the boys loved it!

Then in the evening all of our family came around and we had another party! They were really spoiled as usual! And it was great to see Deb and the boys who have just moved back from Queensland.The kids all had so much fun together.

Scraptober at SA

Last weekend The Scrap Addicts had an online crop called Scraptober. I wasn't able to get much scrapping done but had a great time chatting with everyone. I managed to complete a LO for Shannon's School Daze challenge...

and a LO for Donna's Show Me Your Curves challenge...

The Belle LO was picked as one of the 2 best along with one of Donna's LOs which makes us both the "Queen's of the Crop"! Woohoo!

Been Ages...

Wow I can't believe how long it's been since I was on here! We had a really bad winter with my two boys sick the whole time but everyone is well now and spring is in the air! Actually it's starting to feel like summer already which is a bit worrying.

Alysha and Taylah went back to school yesterday after 2.5 weeks holidays. It is so much quieter with them gone! Steven is starting to fight his day sleeps but there is no way I am giving in yet - he is not even 2.5yrs yet. Kalan is getting a bit better with his sleeping but he still likes to have only 20min sleeps during the day. At least he doesn't scream as much now when I get im to sleep - that was really hard to cope with.

I did heaps of digi scrapping over the winter! No paper unfortunately as I haven't been able to get to a crop. I will make a slideshow of some of my fav layouts I think.

Miss KC 2008

Yay it is official- I am Miss KC 2008!!!!!!

I have been competing in the Miss KC Pageant at Kindred Creations over the last couple of months. It was an anonymous competition and I was Miss Tiffai.

After competing against Miss Steaken in the final (Miss Turmoose never showed) I was 'crowned' the winner on Friday.

There were 5 rounds of competition which all required 1 LO to be submitted and then in the finals there were 3 challenges to be completed within the week. For Challenge #1 - The Evening Gown Competition - I made this LO of Mathew and I.


Challenge #2 involved asking members questions in the forum, and Challenge#3 was to create an off the page project. I made this pop-up box inspired by the Nick Jr ads. I designed everything myself on the computer and then printed and cut it out. The princesses are Alysha and Taylah, and the dragon is Steven.
